Hello August

Hi All,

Welcome back to another edition of my blog, for those visitors that are new, I hope that you enjoy my blog and will return often.


Well as per normal the first blog in the new month is a report of the success and failure of the previous month.


July has been an incredible month, a drastic increase in both unique visitors and hits, and I managed to sort out some real difficult technical issues that have been bugging me since I have started.


Also you will notice that Stone Evans has changed the layout to the Plug-in-Profit site, I must say that I really prefer the new layout over the old template, which was just way to busy. Another new change is that one of the affiliate programs has been replaced by a brand new program , Leisure Audio Books, I will do a review on the product tomorrow, by all accounts it is a fantastic product.


Well lets see what I have done in July;

 I have written a lot more posts than previous months on my blog, my aim was 2 posts a week

 Set up some more web 2 posts and got my photo downloaded onto my squidoo lense and my stumbleupon page, so now you will be able to put a face to my blog.

 Did more SEO work on my site.

 Even though I did not want to do too much article writing, because I wanted to concentrate on this in August, I still wrote 2 articles for GoArticles and 4 separate articles for another article directory. I want to build my library up to 10 articles before I attempt Ezinearticles

 The biggest thing to happen was that I had Wordpress added to my main site, I really battled for a whole day to sort it out , but in the end I had to outsource it, I must say I fantastic job was done, so the money was well worth it


The biggest blow this month was that my publisher id was kicked off the adsense program. So a word of warning, try not to have adsense posts in free traffic exchanges, and make sure you always read all the terms and conditions on a program, don’t just scan it and tick, as I did. Well as they say you live and learn.


So my stats for July are,

Hits – 2897 ( compared to June 1858)

Visits – 558 (compared to June 264 )


So at the moment each month I have been doubling my stats each month.


On the money side, the first elusive sale is still hiding in the WWW ether at the moment, however August I think will be the defining month, where everything just comes together.
